The idea is to record your own "book on tape" and give it as a gift. I think you could also do book on cd's or for the really modern child - book on mp3. What a great way to encourage learning while still remaining close. Great idea for far away grandparents - or in our case an aunt and uncle who want to be a good influence on the children around them.
